serigraphs

Serigraphy is a printing process that forces ink through a fine mesh screen or stencil. Multiple layers of ink are manually pressed through the stencil creating an image on a screen of silk  with an impermeable substance. The pieces presented here were produced with  color separations made by artist's hand. Artists produced 14 to 16 stencils for different colors which were printed one after another. The result is a brilliantly hued work of art that involves artistic touch in every step of creation of the serigraph. The high-quality paper  is acid free with a lightly textured surface. All serigraphs are limited editions of 285 pieces plus 30 of atist's proof, signed and numbered by artist by pencil
